Purpose
It is important to note this position is more than a “Sunday gig”. Worshiping God with all that we have is imperative, no matter the role. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Audio/Visual Production Coordinator is responsible for setting the spiritual tone for the Audio-Visual Ministry. The Audio/Visual Production Coordinator must be highly reliable and always on time for scheduled events. Be spiritually prepared in addition to technically prepared for their role in worship. Positive, humble, cooperative, and willing attitudes are imperative. The Audio/Visual Production Coordinator’s goal is to ensure that services and events across all facilities and ministries can utilize technology efficiently, effectively, and strategically to enhance the experience of those attending and those accessing services online. Good communication is a must.
If you were here last week here are some things you might have done…
- Oversee the implementation of audiovisual elements in Sunday services and special events. Assist Worship Leadership team to craft and execute these events.
- Recruit, train and empower volunteer teams to serve in the areas relating to audiovisual production. Specifically, work with existing volunteers to develop relationship and consistency in operations and recruit/train new volunteers to serve in these areas.
- Learn to run and troubleshoot sound, video and lighting in all AV zones in the church facilities.
- Ensure continuity of audiovisual technology for services and events as guided by the Worship Pastor and problem-solve issues as they arise.
