CareWorks partners are encouraged to apply for grants from philanthropic trusts and other donor organisations.
If an affiliate is not incorporated or has limited organisational capacity, CareWorks can auspice on their behalf in applying for external grants.
This has real benefits to the affiliate, particularly in areas of legal and legislative compliance. Churches of Christ Community Care is the legal entity of CareWorks. It is a registered Tax Concession Charity (TCC), registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for- Profit Commission (ACNC).
Strategic Grants
CareWorks Partnership provides free access to Strategic Grants, an organisation that provides access to hundreds of grants targeted to the program(s) run by CareWorks Partners.
An online platform that can help build an organisation’s capacity through:
- GEM Portal A grants database that builds your organisation a customised grants calendar based on your legal status, what you do and where you do it. It features application outcome reports and email alerts.
- Training in grant writing to maximise the potential for successful applications. Training is provided both online and in face-to-face seminars.
