CCVT has now added a Volunteer Safe Church Awareness Workshop Online. This 2.5 hr workshop is designed for all our church and agency volunteers to be trained and equipped to ensure your church or agency is a Safe Place for everyone.
The shorter online workshop considers the needs of our churches, agencies, and volunteers to keep their people and community safe and at the same time provides the most up to date information for their specific role. Having the workshop online allows volunteers and churches to complete the workshop online at home.
Volunteers who should register for this workshop include all non-leaders volunteering in music, worship, ministry, hosting, services, hospitality, administration, community, parking, and security teams. Safe Church Awareness Workshops are a pre-requisite to volunteering in the local church.
The Volunteer Safe Church Awareness Workshop Online will be conducted monthly, the first online workshops are now open for registrations on 22 February, 13 March and 22 April. More workshops will be added going forward.

Please note: All leaders including pastors, board members, elders, deacons, leadership teams, ministry leaders, pastoral carers and those working with children, youth, or vulnerable adults should register for the full day Leaders Safe Church Awareness Workshop, particularly those wishing to progress towards pastoral Accreditation.
