12 Month Maternity Leave Position
Position Summary
Hope in the Hills is looking to cover a 12 month maternity leave position for a 1 day p/w Youth Worker role. We are seeking someone with experience in Youth Ministry, preferably having team leadership experience. The role would include program planning, Friday night youth leading, following up with leaders and discipling youth and attending most Sundays. A current Victorian Working With Children Check is required and the ability to complete and comply with our Child Safety training requirements.
The position would begin sometime in July. There would be an expectation for the applicant to be part of the Hope in the Hills Church community for this 12-month period.
About Us
Hope in the Hills is a family oriented church located in Tecoma in the Dandenong Ranges of Eastern Melbourne. Our vision is to be a people of hope in the Hills. We have a small but vibrant youth ministry team who have been involved in this space for a number of years who would value the support and input of an experienced youth leader while our current youth worker is on maternity leave. We also have a small staff team who would work closely with the person in this position.
