Multicultural Community Program
Richmond Vietnamese Church of Christ is positioned in the heart of Richmond with a calling to be a loving presence within the wider community. We are an affiliate of Churches of Christ in Victoria and Tasmania. We have a small congregation averaging 70-75 adults and children, made up of first migrant families who now call Australia home. Our doors are open to everyone, acknowledging there is a natural proclivity with the Vietnamese community. Each person/family has a migration story and journey, not all our stories have been easy, some have experienced hardship. In each of our stories, the underpinning thread of connectivity is the gift of community and hope. We operate from this place of belonging. We are committed to supporting migrants and overseas students to have a positive experience settling into their life in Australia. We are a diverse group of people who meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon at Richmond Vietnamese Church of Christ from 2-5 pm. All are welcome.
